The Cliff School, Ootacamund was founded in the year 1955 by the late P.I. Zachariah, a pioneer in the field of child Education in the Nilgiris. During its decades of existence, it has successfully coached many boys and girls for admission to the leading public schools namely, the Lawrence School, Lovedale, and several other English Medium Schools in the Nilgiris and elsewhere in the South.
The school consists of two sections, viz, the Annexe and the Main School, with a total capacity to accommodate a maximum strength of 300 boarders. The Annexe houses 4 to 6 year olds, while the Main School accommodates the higher age group.
The Cliff School aims at offering all our students a broad and balanced curriculum that provides rewarding and stimulating activities to prepare them for the best social and cultural life.
